What you see in the image below is considered as the highlight of quite a few full day tours in Koh Samui. How do I know this? Because research is my department when we travel which includes comparing tour desk pamphlets with each other and then comparing them to the tours that are available online.
The Na-Muang waterfall was a part of almost all the day tours that I came across. They like to market it as the perfect end to the trip and it truly deserves the admiration because it looks beautiful doesn’t it?
Just like you, sitting there gawking at the image in awe, the details and the pictures on the pamphlets got me excited too. Although I was warned by the reviews and original images available online but I decided to give Na-Muang the benefit of the doubt, because hey! I am not the only one blessed with photography skills good enough to ruin the most picturesque sites 😉
Exhausted after an amazing day trip which included elephant safari, trekking and my newly wedded husband almost stomped upon by an elephant, I was all geared up for the great Na-Muang. Ready for the soothing sound of the fall and a relaxing dip in the water after a long day. I was definitely not expecting something as big as the Niagara but at least something bigger than a hot water spring. Something worthy enough to be the showstopper for tourists after a long day.
