Even if you have been living in a cave for the past 2 years you must have noticed it is either the white walkers or the white sneakers everyone has been raving about since the beginning of 2016.
Most of us already know the claim to fame for the former but just wanted to educate myself and others a bit more on the latter(Ah! so now you get it how I wasn’t being a racist in the title of the blog.)
The white shoes trend has been endorsed like no other by celebrities and the diversity being offered by brands is just simply commendable. I decided to take a trip to the nearest shopping mall and document all the varieties that are available. I failed.
Soon I realized that I would have to do a separate series of blogs if I decided to write about each and every white sneaker that is available. So there was a change of plans of course and I covered only the ones that I thought were worth mentioning depending on their comfort and value for money.
Let’s start with the pioneers.
Based on the reviews available online and the first hand experiences of numerous friends both the shoes are considered to be very comfortable and the right choice for travelling.
Nike recently after the mega success of “white walkers” decided to name their collection the white sneakers collection.
1. AirForceOneThe 2 that caught my attention in terms of comfort and can also give you the perfect airport look are
Toms have been my favorite when it comes to the chic look and it would be really unfair not to do a detailed blog on them given that they serve a very noble and interesting cause as well. Leaving that for later these guys have also gone with the look of the season and designed a white sneaker that looks nothing like their regular shoes.
Call It Spring
I am no fashionista but for me their designers got a little carried away with their creativity but hey if you like it funky then “call it spring” and go for it
Speaking of funky call it spring’s sister concern aldo isn’t far behind and they not only decided to get funky but a little chunky as well. Look at those bejeweled white beauties.
All the high street options are less than a fifty dollars! Yassss but let me pop the bubble here, if you only want to have the perfect travel look and look no less than gigi hadid while boarding your next flight, I would definitely suggest going for the less expensive option, but do remember to keep an extra pair in your bag, in case you end up with a bump at the back of your ankle or a swollen toe after excessive walking.
Sadly my pain thresholds are less than of a two month old and for me comfort comes first any day. If you too are in the same boat then start saving and wait for the next big sale. I think I will have to do both because someone also sucks at saving.
